When a secure email is sent, the only people who have initial access are the recipient of the original email.

If the recipient were to forward the secure email to a third party, they will not be able to access this without permission from the original sender of the email.

  1. You have received an access request for a secure email that you have sent out previously, it will look like the below image. It states who made the request and the email they wish to access. To provide access, click the link within the email.
  2. Once clicked, you will be directed to the below page. The will be a message at the bottom stating that a user has requested access tot he email. To give this user access or deny access click the name the requester.
  3. A yellow box will appear giving you the option to approve to deny request, to approve click the Approve Access button.
  4. The email address of the requester will then be added to the "To" box, as shown in the below image. All that is left to do is click the Save changes button.
  5. You will see a blue banner appear at the top of the screen confirming the changes have been saved.
  6.  The requester will then receive an email confirming access has been granted.
